FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to the questions church leaders ask most often.

Does Shepherd Station replace our church website?

It can. Shepherd Station includes a church website builder, and you can bring over your existing pages and words. You can also keep your current site while you get started.

Can we bring our existing contacts?

Yes. Upload your list from a spreadsheet and Shepherd Station matches people so you don't end up with duplicates.

Does it work with Google and Facebook?

Yes. You can connect your church's Google Ads and Facebook. Facebook lead form responses come in as people, and website form responses can be reported to Google as conversions.

Can we text and email people?

Yes. You can send texts and emails one-to-one or as broadcasts, and replies land in one shared inbox. People who reply STOP are never texted again.

Can multiple staff members use it?

Yes. Invite your team and choose which areas each person can use.

What happens to our church's data?

Each church's data is kept separate and used only to run that church's station. Shepherd Station does not sell church data, and phone numbers are never shared with advertising platforms.

Do I need to understand digital advertising?

No. Shepherd Station keeps your campaigns tidy, explains what's happening in plain language, and asks before any change to spending.

How long does setup take?

Fast. You can sign up for Shepherd Station today, connect your church, and start putting it to work right away. In many cases, you can purchase Shepherd Station in the morning and have your first outreach campaign ready to run that afternoon. You don't need to migrate everything or configure the entire platform before you start getting value from it. Start with what matters most, then bring the rest of your church into Shepherd Station as you go.

Already using Planning Center?

Planning Center is great church software. Shepherd Station includes people, giving, check-in, services and volunteer scheduling too — plus the outreach and follow-up tools church-management software was never designed for. Start with Shepherd Station where it creates the most value, then consolidate as you're ready.

How much does it cost?

$247 per month for the platform, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Payment processing, texting and email usage, and advertising spend are separate.
